Looks like we've been set up to a) avoid a whupping b) hope to sneak/fluke a goal at some point.
Just trying to stop the rot.

We didn't deserve that, but what's up with AVFC and set pieces? I haven't seen us half capable at defending them since 2008.

Appalling defending. It was coming though. We're playing well but it was just so obvious it was going to happen.

We had been pretty solid but 2 minutes of chaos and suddenly everything changes, i have to say the way Shelby is gobbin off he could get the red, if they loose him they wont be so effective. Kodjia has been pretty good this half but he does do some stupid things at times, hope Brucie can lift em and we have more of the same.

I have to say save for putting up a good fight, I still think we look pretty poor overall, but at the same time don't really deserve to be losing as Newcastle were poor too. Trouble is Newcastle probably won't be as poor in the second half as they were in the first.

We're better then them but fuck me does every rebound, odd bounce, loose ball whatever have to go against us ffs, it really is like some paranormal shit this is...............

Taylor is good, JEDI reads the game well and we look better with him, HL CR and Thor are definitely better then the old MF but need to communicate better, switch Bree into RB and Bunn in Goal and we will be fine for mid table.

That is what you get when you don't attempt to stop the cross and then don't win the header, it then becomes pin ball and we just don't seem able to get rid of the ball, all very, very basic elements of playing the game.

Some what agree, but I think his engine is important. He covers a lot of ground. Bit like Valencia did at Man Utd, just shitter.

To be fair to Bjarnasson this is his first game, playing in his normal position. I think it's too early to write off any of the new signings.

WTF was that Jedinak. They have two players trying to break through against 6 Villa players. Literally his goal was to get a free kick and push his team up and you give it away. 15 years of experience in football and you do that. Fucking stupid sugarbag. Oh great. Now that foul gave them 2-0.

LOL many believe our attack is just pathetic...and it is. But when you have Johnstone, Hutton and Elphick in your defence then you're on a hiding to nothing. The whole team is poison and needs replacing in the summer under a new coach who has a f#cking clue about what he's doing.

Not hurting over this one...Bruce just isn't the man.

Cameras keep showing Bruce, have to say he looks more worried than usual. Then again we'll probably get the same old rhetoric about sticking together.
