So we're now twice as many points (16) from the play-offs as we are to to relegation. Today is a must win, but as we get closer, I'm losing my condidence that we'll get three points. Can't believe that we're actually in a relegation battle.

We need to get to the fifty points mark, as soon as possible, as that's thereabouts the average needed to stay up. Relegation's looking unlikely at the moment but teams can drop fast in this division, so we can't be complacent.

I would be surprised if we went 3-5-2 at home v a mad mick side, I would changed keepers, but doubt that will happen. So I think he will go with a 4-3-3 who will line up as a 4-4-2 and play like a 4-5-1

If we did make it up and win the playoffs, it would mean that the new players made all the difference, then only minor tweaking would be needed for our top6 finish next year ;-)

For me in order to have a chance we need to go on a run where we win four out of the next five games at least. And also be around 7-8 points behind SW by the time they rock up at VP. If we are we'd still be in the fight. Especially as we have away games at the bottom teams coming up so surely more away points will be on the board.

We'd probably need another 38 to 40 points just to make 6th place, from a possible 51.  

It would be a miracle.

So, yet another 2nd half of the season spent worrying about the drop, unless we start putting some back-to-back wins together and get to the 12-15 points which should see us safe.

I like the optimism, our current away form is played 16 won 2 drawn 5 lost 9 - scored 8 GOALS in 16 games, quite honestly it is truly appalling!
