Lerners Stewardship

Post by Saunders82 on Mon Dec 26, 2016 2:02 pm

I've just been watching an interview With Gary Cahill on Sky, it brought it home to me that Lerners time as Owner of Aston Villa was a complete waste almost from the off. Cahill was sold for peanuts as was Stephen Davis & a few others just to get funds for the then managers to strengthen the team, when this didnt happen the crown jewels of Young, Barry, et al were sold some for joke sums, most of these players are still plying their trade in the Prem whilst we have slid down & down, he then proceeded to cockup the management structure for good measure, for a so called "supporter" to allow this to happen when he had the means to do things right is criminal. We now have someone who wants to win just like all of us, lets hope we get better & stronger in the coming months and get back to where we all know we belong. Scarf Waving Scarf Waving

A lot went wrong under Lerner. Having friends who work at the club there are some real horror stories to be told.
