RHM - Is he staying?
Does anyone know what the problem with Hepburn Murphy and his contract is? Is he another spoilt youngster looking to hold the club to ransom or has the club simply screwed up any negotiations? I can't believe that with the experienced management team in place we can lose a talented youngster through ineptitude - can we?

Re: RHM - Is he staying?
I wouldn't blame him for leaving. To be honest, if I was him, I'd be thoroughly pissed off with the club.
He's worked hard to prove himself, done well in the U23's from everything I read yet can't get a game whilst that prick Agbonlahor carries on like a sugarbag after relegation, lets himself get unfit, gets himself substituted in U23 games because he's not performing yet walks into the squad for the blues match.
I said a while ago that giving Gabby yet another reason undeserved chance would send all the wrong signals to the younger strikers and it has.
So fair play to Hepburn-Murphy if he's sticking two fingers up to the club cuz they've done just that to him.
Playing Gabby was a huge miss-step.

It would be crazy to let him go, he would alleviate some of the impact of the African Nations losses.

Agreed, I believe a number of good things have happened post-Lerner - though there's still plenty to fucking do too - but this whole Gabby saga has been a total mis-step in my opinion. A mis-step into a sloppy fucking turd which could have and shoulve have been avoided.

THIS AND THIS, totally agree chaps.
Out with the old in with the new and all that, especially that rotten core that put us where we are. It may or may not be fair to still be harping on about it but we still need to rid this club of a few tossers and incompetents, team spirit is as important as individual talent and setting the right balance throughout the club is essential.
Audrey needs to feel appreciated, wanted and his progress rewarded.
The 1st team squad need to be aware that those U23's that excel are coming for their places.
I have a lot more confidence in Bruce now then before he came but the gabby/Audrey issue is a misstep, his last misstep I hope.

While I'd like Audrey to be given his shot, I'd love it to be at Gabby's expense, I wouldn't shed a tear if he did leave.
This is fuck all to do with Gabby's 1 appearance - Audrey was refusing to sign a new contract in the summer which is why we didn't send him out on loan knowing he'd be available on a free next summer. There's clearly something else at play, but in the summer no one higher than the lower leagues came sniffing and now he's being linked with the mighty fucking Rangers! They're the same standard as lower leagues!

Re: RHM - Is he staying?
What message does it send out to these players when we lose almost every game we play (Last season) and they don't get a sniff? Poor, cowardly management in my opinion on behalf of the last few managers,(RDM and Bruce excluded as how can they play a contract rebel?)
No doubt he'll leave and yet again the club will have wasted lots of money, time and effort in developing a player for someone else.

Spot on. Fecking spot on.
Makes me question why we have an academy in the first place

Re: RHM - Is he staying?
It's absolutely insane that we have an academy that do really well in youth comps, then we spend millions and millions on foreign talent in a league that's well known for being tough on foreigners and let our own talent like RHM rot. It's fecking ridiculolus. Mind boggles.

I hope we give him a new contract I know there are a couple of clubs looking at him I would prefer him to stay.

Yeah I think Watford are interested.
Stunning journalism once again by the Mail - they've announced that his name is an anagram of in a rush. Feck me, it must have taken a few hacks and at least a sub-editor to produce that piece of journalistic brilliance.

With Sherwood in at QPR expect them to be added to the list of interested clubs. He gave him his debut at Sunderland.
