Midfield hasn't been great. Jedi has done the job he was sent out to do but Westwood has been terrible.
Unfortunately the injury to Adomah and forced sub probably means Tish won't be on for the 2nd half

In the battle of the managers Brucie is streets ahead here. Nullified there attack, frustrated the crowd, retained our shape, whilst blues are hoping to get back on terms by chasing hopeless balls..
I can fear a red card coming - which side gets it may be key here.
But so far we are looking very professional

Agree with all and touch wood, Chester and Baker look the part, actually back 4 look solid.
JK worth every penny.
I would still bring Tshi on soon.

Has Tish done something wrong in training or is he not fully fit? To pick Westwood in front of him today is worrying?

The goal seems to have settled us down and provided some much needed confidence? Let's get the second goal now as I don't want a panicky final 10 minutes!

As Smetro said red card somewhere in this one and I am sure that prick of a ref is dying to give it to a Villa player??

Gardner's fault 100%. But he has been a lot better than Westwood this match.
I'm not sure who's our worst player. Toss up between Hutton and Westwood. Need to get shot of both.

Westwood really is too weak for football on this level. It's like watching a kid against men.

McGrath I love tackles like that. Gives me a minor erection.

It's like every single player they have is a classless fecking chav.

Gollini MOTM for me. Amavi a strong second. Really good game from both.
Chester and Baker solid again.
Our creativeness and attack looked shit.
Gardner and Westood was awful again. Westwood arguably the worst by some distance.
Gabby did alright. At least he looked half bothered.
Bruce should have taken Westwood off for Tish from the 45 min mark. Bad management.
A superb tacle aside, Hutton is fucking awful. Really need a new RB. Bacuna meanwhile?
Jedinak was superb though. That's the player I thought we bought.

That's was a dire 2nd half Westwood is unbelievably soft. but we knew that already so why put him in???
I'm not sure we deserved a point if I'm honest but there were lots of positives.
Baker was good. Jediknackered looked less knackered and if we can get points when we maybe don't deserve them then there's something to be said about heart and attitude.

Jedinak MOTM -
Blues don't loose many at home so a good point.
Defence looked good - sure there were on or two scares - but we kept our shape. Injury to admomah and a poor showing from Ayew cost us imo. We don't look to have a lot of goals in our locker.
