#avfc preparing £1m Hourihane bid, waiting for Forest to reply on Lansbury + still tracking Brady. Bruce disappointed not to get Schlupp.

Purley in the here and now Johnstone looks an upgrade on Gollini....and Bruce must think so too .....

That looks to be the case... Hopefully Gollini can do well for himself in Serie A, so he can come back here improved, or we can get a good fee for him.

Although they apparently have some good keepers so he might have a fight to get in their first team.

I don't think he would be going if he wasn't at least be given a chance of the 1st team spot!

Haven't that got that absolutely shit hot keeper sportiello ? - never in a million years will Gollini displace him this season - he's due a move to a top club in the summer. (Sportiello not Gollini)
So at least in the short term he's going to atlanta as back up.

Just saying that they apparently they have few decent goalkeepers and Atalanta are currently sixth only three points off third, so their current No.1 is probably doing something right.

I imagine the reason he's gone there for an unusually long period of time for a loan, is to allow him time to develop and break into the first team. Wouldn't be any point in him going just for the rest of this season if he might not hardly play.

anyone seen this? Aston Villa are chasing Egyptian striker Basem Morsy, according to ESPN FC.

Morsy, 25, has scored 48 goals in just over two seasons and seen his cub Zamalek win the Egyptian Premier League in his first season and the Egyptian Cup for the past two years.

The source comes close from the player, the website claims...

I do sometimes wonder if he's being slightly overrated at the moment, as in, I'm not sure what he'd done before this season and I don't think he's being called up for Ireland, but for that much surely he'd be worth a go, even if it was just to stop other clubs getting him.

According to the article in todays Sun, he came through Sunderlands youth when Bruce was there so he will know what the kids about

Fl92transfer on twitter saying it too. Let's hope so. By all accounts he's been one of best this season so 1.25m seems a bargain. Add lansbury for 4m and our midfield looks completely different for 5m! Nxt Brady and bree?

Yeah it looks like Lansbury and Hourihane are our midfield targets then. Also Bruce confirmed we were in for Schlupp so we're definitely looking at a left-winger aswell.

I was encouraged that Bruce said we need players in defence, midfield and upfront. And even though it's been frustrating that we haven't signed anyone yet I'm hoping the signings will be worth the wait.

The Forest takeover is off. Will have to see how it affects the deal for Lansbury.

Done deal surely? It was the potential new owner plus Rowett trying to spanner the deal. The only problem might be the delay caused by them trying to salvage it

You have to laugh. "Breaching FA rules".

Thatd be the Football Association, bastion of fideity and integrity.

Interesting to read the Forest takeover is off. I wonder how their fans feel about that?

They're devastated from what I've seen, think they really saw it as a chance to turn the corner. The potential buyers loaned them £2.2m, and now they have to pay that back too.

If we're going for a striker and they need money might be worth considering a bid for Britt Assombalonga.

If Twitter, Facebook, and the comments section of the noNottingham Post are accurate they are pretty much threatening the current owners life
