Haha. Actually that's intended as a 433 with two wide players and a targetman

You are right, apparently he is suspended for non-competitive fixtures until 17 October, but it doesn't apply for Championship matches.

Therefore replace Westwood with Tish, no brainer!

Without meaning to sound like kk, I would love it if we smash them.
I'm predicting either a had thought 1-0 win or we will wipe the floor with them 3-0.
I'm gonna go for the latter - come on potato head work some magic.

Depending on whether my wife throws a strop and I stay at home or if I'm in deepest darkest Dorset (Portland*) at a mate's place, I'm looking forward to watching this on telly. Unfortunately there's a restraining order out on me predicting the score so may the best claret and blue team win.

* A few years ago I was there in a pub watching Villa play West Brom and Lukaku missed a goal. A bloke nearby who I'd previously been getting on fine with said 'I knew he'd miss'. I said how? and he replied 'cos he's black'. He must find football very confusing.

Wolves are nothing to me. It will be nice to beat them the same await is to beat anyone but they are nothing. They suffer the same delusions as the baggies, because they are local and live in our shadows they are always looking to get one over us but we are not bothered about them.

Wolves looked good when I watched them against sha, although I gather they've been pretty inconsistent. Have a feeling that this might be yet another draw. Really hoping for a win though, obviously, we desperately need one.

Got a feeling Gardner might be playing tomorrow. He's tweeted how much he's "looking forward to the game tomorrow" coupled with a smiley. The last time he done that he started against Forest. Also think Bruce might still remember him from THIS game.

My team

.....................Gollini...................

..Richards..Elphick..Chester..Amavi....

................Gardner..Tshibola........
......................Grealish...................
........Adomah..................Ayew..............
........................Kodjia...................

Wouldn't mind seeing that line-up tbh. Some fans are under the impression Bruce favours 352 but from what I can see he played 4231 mostly last season.

I'd be staggered if Westwood doesn't play. Think Bruce will go with three traditional midfielders in the center.

Why would you be "staggered"? I'm hoping Bruce won't caught up in the "Westwood spell" tbh. Something has to give now.

Today is about how serious the players are in my opinion. A new manager to impress, new competition for places now the slate has been wiped clean, a desperate need to finally get the season underway if we are truly in with a chance of play-offs or promotion this season and of course the little matter of it being a local derby against one of our "promotion" rivals, so they know the fans will be desperate for a result. We will find out today just how serious the players are about doing well for the new boss. If we see an abject performance i will be very concerned as there is not really much more you could find as motivation for a football team!

Totally agree, the talking has to stop and the judgement will be on the pitch.
If the players can't be 'up' for this game we may as well all give up and resign ourselves to a life in the lower reaches of the football league!

Lets have some passion back into our football club! Dancing Banana

who is Everett supposed to be? and surely no right minded manager would start cissokho at left wing back when we have amavi. cissokho cant go forwards for his life

Cissokho can get forward, the problem is what he does when he gets there. He hasn't looked bad this season overall. Amavi has the potential to be brilliant, but he hasn't looked the player he was before his injury. Hopefully he'll regain that form and make the left back position one we don't have to worry about. Then there's just the other 10 to sort out!

I just went to the O/S to see if there's someone called Everett that was drafted in from the juniors when I noticed something...

It's time to start a new game of Guess The Alien.

Gollini has a neck that's wider than his head.
Steer looks like one of those bobble-heads you put on your dashboard.
Bunn is a pin-head.
Micah Richards' head is completely on the piss.
Gardner is a human lightbulb.
Sanchez looks like he was plugged into Gardner.
Jedinak is from a planet that....well, I just don't know!
Gabby and Kozak are from this planet but escaped from a mental asylum.

And these wasters probably spend $10,000 between them on haircuts each week.

Richards starting, that's going to be interesting to see if he can do the job properly and finally Tish and Jedi on together, with Jack and Adomah.

TEAM NEWS

Gollini, Richards, Cissokho, Elphick (c), Chester, Jedinak, Tshibola, Adomah, Grealish, Mccormack, Kodjia

SUBS: Bunn, Baker, Bacuna, Ayew, Gestede, Westwood, Hutton

Looks like we're going with this..

....................Gollini...................

..Richards..Elphick..Chester..Cissokho.....

..Adomah..Jedinak..Tshibola..Grealish.....

.............Mccormack................
...........................Kodjia.....................

Can't complain about that line-up at all. Ayew apparently took a knock for Ghana last week so maybe that's why he's been rested. I knew Bruce would pick Richards and Micah is the type of lad I think he'll look to get the best out of. Tish and Jedi in the middle need to assert their authority in there and hopefully Adomah and Grealish will get some quality service into Mac and Kodjia. I expect mac to play between the lines and drop deep at times himself.

All in all I'm hopeful we can get a result out of this. Picking a balanced team is always a good start, just have to hope the players click now.
