......................Grealish...............
.............Adomah..........Ayew.........

Finally I get to go to a match.

I have no idea what the formation or score will be, I really don't.

@AstonThriller as much as I hate to say it I think as we are away and as our players are unfit I would swap out Grealish for another midfielder? I think Bruce would go with Ashley 'fucking' Westwood as well just to annoy us even more!! Need a couple of kids n the bench though as I never want to see Cissoko or Hutton in our shirt ever again!

Mutton......Chester..........Baker.......Amavi

Kodjia....................Ayew...............Grealish

Kodjia needs to be facing goal running at defenders, Gestede is pants but I been very disappointed with McCormack, he is just an older version of Andi Wiemann but slower.
1-1 again.

I just have no idea how we should set up defensively as I don't think we've got enough strength there at all. We talk a lot about the midfield but if there was a solid line at the back at least we would stop players and balls getting through. I think this has been one of our big problems for some time. We can be skinned easily on the left and the right (fuck me, Aly and Hutton get worse with every performance) but can't handle pressure through the middle either. I know Gollini has made a couple of gaffs so far but for me he's shown enough to prove that with a strong defensive line ahead of him a lot of his nervy play would disappear.

Maybe it's a bit too simple, but as a means of getting some more action in front of their goal not ours, why can't we have Grealish and Adomah getting it to the line as often as possible and whip it over for Gestede to nod in? As often as possible.

Please Jim(cvnt) can you fix it for me as my curiosity is burning a hole in my skirt..........

Rmac and rudy clicked early in the season and I want to see where they can take us, JK is close to 2 footed IMO and is the reason I'm putting him out there.

Lineup for my fantasy football trip to reading taking into account injuries .......

Gollini

Bacuna Chester Baker Amavi

Adomah Tshibola Grealish Kodjia

...............Rmac

.......................Rudy

going for another draw, things will improve slowly but until we can sign some decent midfield players that can control a game we will struggle for wins, roll on January

He needs to find a solution before then otherwise with the current form we will be in the brown sticky stuff??

I think we need to forget all these attackers and go with 3 in the middle of the park even if it means going with Gardner and Ashley 'fucking' Westwood to partner Tish and Jedi?

Bloody hell, no chance. Stick with jedi for an hour and then switch rmac for jack if tired.

0-4 to us based on law of averages, sadly for reading Tshibola will own that fecking place. Reading Away Match Thread. 4025243045

Too early for Bruce to know what to do.

Same old same old. Defeat looms albeit probably not heavy but still dismal.

I really question our academy tbh. This is the worst Villa side I've seen in my life and they still don't have a youth product to help out in midfield.

The same academy that has sent tons of players to the championship. Just doesn't make any sense.

On reflection I think if Bruce does play 433 I think it would be worth playing Hepburn-Murphy on the right-hand side of the front three.

................Kodjia.................
........Ayew...........Murphy..................

We all saw how lively he was against Newcastle and I think if nothing else his pace would really make the Reading defence nervous. I also think that sort of young enthusiasm could be just what we need right now. Lets shake things up Brucey!!.

As for Lyden. Well it's a strange one isn't it? Featured in four games last season in the Premiership and yet he hasn't even got a sniff at a lower level? This is a lad who has captained the u23 side and scored goals from midfield too.

Some folks on twitter are calling for the lad Khalid Abdo to get a chance who is a creative midfielder from the u23s. Bruce said he was gonna make changes so I'm at least hoping to see Gardner, Amavi and Ayew play.

We need to start playing with three in the middle. Just pick a three out of Jedinak, Gardner, Westwood, Tshibola and Bacuna, and give them a run of games and I think things will improve. Tshibola, Jedinak and Gardner have all proven themselves at their previous clubs to be good players at this level.

Although it will mean playing one less attacker, I do actually think it would improve our attack too. Would also suit Amavi's qualities better.

...............Gollini (Bunn)
Hutton....Chester...Baker...Amavi
Bacuna....Gardner...Tshibola...Grealish
..........Kodija....Ayew

Subs: Jedinak (to come on in last 20 mins to stiffen things up if we're ahead)
Gestede (Alternative if losing)
McCormack (Gives him a breather and good guy to come on)
Bunn
Green (Needs to play, has legs and would brighten us up on the right)

I really must have missed something here -I can see Gardner in a couple of people's teams - wtf?

Has a new person been signed with the surname Gardner, or has there been some kind of breakthrough in android technology where someone can be upgraded? Cos if not, how the fuck can anyone, ever, even consider that useless fuck appearing in the team again - I mean not even as a squad player, but actually in a starting line up???
