2017 January Transfer Window
Will the young stars of tomorrow be given a chance to shine in order to help us through the African Cup of Nations? Will we rely on loans, new buys or will Gabby be coming in from the cold?
If it's anything like the last window, it won't be dull.

Re: 2017 January Transfer Window
Never mind the January transfer window, I'm getting pretty fed up with this current one. We've signed absolutely no-one since last Wednesday. No idea what the hell is going on at Villa Park - it gets all busy middle of last week and then bang! Nothing. I've been logging on each morning to see who we've signed - I was convinced we would have signed someone this weekend just as an antidote to the borefest that is England, but nope, no-one. We need some bloody consistency down at Villa Park.

I can just see Dr T going out in Jan and spending another £20 million give or take if RDM wants a few more, would not surprise me

Depends who is in or around the bottom 3 of the Prem come Xmas - don't wait until summer to pilfer their teams.

Well I have fairly consistently predicted that Pardew will be the 1st manager sacked

Apparently Pulis is 50:50 to stay at the boggies!!! So if we are doing well a cheeky bid for Berahino or Rondon???

Re: 2017 January Transfer Window
Surely our signings will be highly dependent on our league standing?
I reckon if we are in the promotion mix we are probably in for some very good players. If we aren't, well I wouldn't be surprised if we signed nobody.

Do you have access to the medicine cabinet at the NHS?

Oh believe me, we've had no medicine in the cabinet since the NHS ran out of money in late 2012. We now have a huge department of people simply dedicated to re-painting M&Ms to look like Ibruprofen (parma violets stay the same and get marketed as Viagra)
We were struggling along simply using our reserves of anaesthetic gas until Jack Grealish went on holiday, now that's all gone as well............

Re: 2017 January Transfer Window
I think we will be busy in the window. This squad will gel but i would think that new faces of quality will be added to make sure we can finish the season strongly. We will get a good idea of the strength of the team during the Forest game.
Would love us to rip them apart and the new players to shine.

Provided his head isn't in retirement mode and his legs can still run at a Championship pace for 70 mins, it'd be a big YES from me.

It's not his birthday until May, so we should have his attention until then before he gets upset at the present he gets from Xia and goes on strike.
