Sitting having a beer feeling quietly content for a change, apparently 3 signings imminent, team confidence will have gone up, for me the result was worth its weight in gold, happy

I'm glad to have to eat my words on this result, didn't see that result coming, nor those scorers, long may I be wrong if this is the result

First home game of my first ever season ticket today and what a start! Loved it from start to finish. Even Cissokho today, I thought that was his best game in a villa shirt.

Great game today, was a good atmosphere and you could see the tension lift from the players when Jack got the third.
Mind you by then we should of had 6 or 7. Was good to see the Doc before kick off and we even got a wave off RDM.
was also good to see the players come to the holte after the final whistle.
Great day but then the nightmare getting home. Did not get out of Aston till 5:50 bloody nightmare.

Just seen the goals and I must it was encouraging to see some class moves for once. Mccormack's pass for the second was absolute perfection and I see him growing as a bigger and bigger influence the more game time he gets.
Word is Adama had a good little cameo aswell which is encouraging.

I should have known with it not being on TV that it'd be a barnstorming win. Dying to see some highlights

Takes a few seconds for all the line games to appear so be patient.
Seems it only works in the UK so I'm still looking...

Re: Rotherham post-match thread
Watched it via a VPN. 2nd goal looked fantastic!!!
Great to see. But Rotherham looked absolute shit so I'm mot getting carried away. Then again, you'd think they were better than Luton so fuck it, I will get carried away....we needed a confidence boost, some belief, anything and someone somewhere has said something and it's all fallen into place.
Maybe it was Xia's rant at them after the Luton match? "Feed them to fucking pig" is pretty easy to understand eh?

Is it just me or does anyone else think Peter Withe looks like Mr Twit from Roald Dahl's The Twits in the photo above?

Re: Rotherham post-match thread
Purposely avoided all things Villa this weekend after the debacle at Luton. Then we bloody go and win in some style by the looks of things? Seen the second goal last which was a good 'un.
Well let's build on this, maybe Tony's powerpoint presentation on success and failure made the difference?

Thanks, great watch.KMitch wrote:
Pleased for the club. The lads really need a bit of confidence.
Obviously I can't give very analytical POV from 2 min on youtube, but I like how we took shots. I've always been a fan of strikers having a go right, left and centre

Above link is a bunch of photos taken by a Rotherham fan yesterday. Whilst it's obviously an away fans view of VP there are some great shots of the Holte and our home dugout plus the pyro that went off in the lower north.

The North looks like an exercise in Brutalism. Wonder if Tony plans a bit of construction work too??

Given some of the work Recon has done, any refurb could extend for 10 miles in each direction.
