Wow. Didn't expect this. Great result.
Lets not think this means we don't need signings. Get them in.
Anyone got links to the goals?

Just leaving VP now happy days. Great atmosphere as well especially when Dr Tony took a bow to the holte singing
Dr Tony went to Rome
In a ford mondeo
Brought us back a manager
Roberto Di Matteo
Great view from my season ticket spot in K4
It should have been 4 or 5

Great stuff. So Where can we watch highlights? After MOTD or somewhere else? I was at Thruxton with the boy (aged 9 1/2 months) for his first race, watching a friend in a Healey, it was a nice surprise to get home and see the score.

I think it's the championship show channel 5 9pm but don't expect a quality product. In fact just think channel 5 and you'll get my meaning. ...

There's a channel 5?!
Cheers for this. I expect I'll be watching the highlights on AVTV on Monday, if the site lets me in.

Yeah channel 5 is the new home for us lads. Got the recorder saved on automatic so I don't miss it...which is strange because last season I must have watched match of the day about twice due to us being so poor.
Anyway great win and hopefully the confidence taken from this can really get us started now. You could see things were starting to click at Wednesday when we had them pinned back for most of the second half. Obviously Luton was a shocker but today I think we saw the real Villa turn up.
Happy for Jack and Gestede...Gestede has had a lot of stick but he's proven at this level and 20 goals from him and Mccormack would most certainly see us return to the promise land I'd think.
A goal from a midfielder is also very much welcome. For too long our midfielders have contributed nothing in the final third and that desperately needs to change now.

Re: Rotherham Match Thread
Agree thriller but I tell you what Jack carried and carried the ball diagonally across the box and just as we were all groaning that he'd overrun it he somehow cut it back and into the net. What impressed me was some of our one touch interplay around the goal from mccormack grealish and ayew. Fantastic stuff. And as they get to play together more often I think we'll see some great moves. Still need signings but fair play we went for it. There was such a relationship between the players and the crowd at the end as well and with each other - it was obvious what today meant to everyone. One swallow doesn't make a summer but I'll take today for what it was- enjoyable. And I've got no voice as usual, yep, football is back!

Thank goodness for that!
Didn't think we'd be quite ready this week so delighted!
Forgot what it felt like to win 3-0!

Re: Rotherham Match Thread
My word the feels good. Gestede and Ayew will rightly be contenders for MOTM - But a shout for Tishbola - I thought he was fantastic - a destroyer, a playmaker, a bit of box to box - sure not the finished article - but very promising from him today.
As I may have mentioned I wasn't in approval of RDM - I feared it would be passing square balls in our own half. Well today there was tippy tappy , pretty triangles - but with a difference it had punch - it had a threat at the end of it...
Grealish needs to take more responsibility - he needs to be a tad more direct - he actually scored from a harder angle that he initially had....but that a minor niggle .......we are back....
Dr Tony on the pitch - bowing to the fans - (shades of Michael Knighton !!) great stuff.
On WM they were saying he had to calmed down in the directors box when we lost at luton !!! - Good - leadership from the top is what we need as much his millions.......
Im truly chuffed tonight !!!!

What a performance & what an atmosphere today.
Tishbola man of the match for me what a signing that kid is, bossed midfield.
If someone told me I'd see Gestede score 2 & backflip I'd of told them to go lie down. The big man should be in Rio!!

Good question. The one that comes to mind is Sunderland away March 2015 when we won 4-0

Ofc. I couldn't be there or see it, but the clips I've seen so far the fans were superb. Must be brilliant for squad morale to face such a rocking Holte End.

Just had a quick look on Wiki.. Not including friendlies, it was when we beat Sunderland 4-0 at Stadium of Light. 14th March 2015.
