I'm going to have to reassess my aim to get to 6-10 matches this season if this carries on!

Also Bamford on his way and we are in other reports close to signing N'Doye from Angers so that's Diawara Jedinak and maybe N'Doye added in midfield
ASTON VILLA are set to sign Bologna star Amadou Diawara, according to reports.
Italian news outlet Tutto Sport claim Villa have agreed a £14.8m fee for the midfielder.
It's suggested personal terms with the playmaker have also been rubber stamped.

Dr T's claret blue army
There's only one Dr T one Dr T!!
Honestly after all the worry some rightly some OTT with Dr T looking at him now the guy oozes Villa and our club's best interests, he is ambitious aiming for the stars and building a structure at our club we have not seen with people in positions that are bloody good at there job and somehow yet he has managed to attract RDM Clarke Wyness Round to us in the Championship and is spending the money to rebuild our club and pride, i honestly think we will be looking back in about 5 years time and thanking our lucky stars he saved our club from the perils we were facing under Lerner, i can see a statue of him being put up and asked for by Villans when he wins us big trophies i just got this feeling he will see through what he sets out and that is to make us great again :)
Steve Hollis knew what he was doing, a statue for him might be in order me thinks

This was the 1 thing which always gave me confidence in Dr T - Hollis' reputation is built on securing the best deals for the companies which he would go into and sort out. He was never going to be longterm. He was brought in to get our house in order and sell us to the best available party. His professional reputation would've taken a serious hit should we have been sold to a total chancer, and he isn't in football so professional reputations actually matter in his circles!
Which is why I always defended him against certain poster and their wife who insulted and attacked Hollis over the deal done

I was literally just checking how long it's been since @Alf T was online. It's been over a month now. Shame really as I kinda miss his multi-coloured, long-winded, don't-blame-me-it's-not-my-opinion-it's-the-wife's-and-she-has-the-facts-to-prove-it posts.
It's not like he'd get wound up good and proper if he came back so what's the issue?

Same here Dan. Its pretty obvious that there were no interested parties from the top10 on the forbes list. The other candidates would have been harris and the other Chinese bidders that now own our local rivals.
You can already see what Hollis had seen in Xia and the other bidders and one thing that hasn't been mentioned like Xia's enthusiasm and business acumen is his competitiveness, this man will not be beat, if they pull a knife, he will draw a gun, if they draw a gun he will launch holy global thermonuclear war on their asses.
The 1st thing I do every day now is check Xia's twitter, I love the bloke and want him to succeed just for himself and not only for our great club.

I'm the same. Hit refresh on this site, look right, check what the good doctor has to say.
He's currently saying that they're working on Visa approvals. Now if that ISN'T for Jediank as previously discussed, then who is it for

N'Doye and Diawara?
This transfer activity is for promotion and to consolidate our place back where we belong, the Dr did say 5 years for world domination not 2, I would expect any future big name signing to come in year 3 just after we qualified for the champions league and won the F.A. Cup.

Re: 2016 Summer Transfer Speculation
Xia is a legend already, when we score I want to see him jump out the Directors box like a ninja and run on the pitch body slamming all our players, run over and high5 RDM and put 2 fingers up to the apposing manager whilst singing, we're the villa, we're the villa..............we are the champions.

Re: 2016 Summer Transfer Speculation
I agree regarding Hollis he really did manage to land us a proper ambitious intelligent passionate owner/fan to buy us, he did his job well for us in the end even though i was skeptical as to what Hollis intentions on Lerner's behalf were now looking back he was chuckling after we were sold to Dr T for the reason we are all now starting to just begin to see with us ending up with an owner who gives a shit about the club and fans and demands this club returns back to the glory days and the top dogs around again, so a big cheers to Steve from me for helping us out, can not wait to start to see Villa Park development take shape aswell reading into the new appointment club secretary Mr He and his links to iHotel group makes me wonder if this is part of developing Villa Park as Abramovich did with hotel groups and Mansour of City,
Exciting times imagine the calibre of player we will be in for when promoted come May back to the Premiership if we are bidding £15million now in the Championship for players
