Quick question.
I was looking at his wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigel_Spink and while browsing honours, I couldn't find winning the league in 1981. Despite him being at the club since 1977. Didn't you get a medal unless you played?

No - Only 1 sub in those days - and famously we only used 14 players. So he wouldn't get a medal. There is a story about Eamon Deacy who thought he wouldn't get a medal as he had only played 7 games (he did)
