I am a big supporter of giving managers time, therefore I am willing to give Roberto a free pass this first season unless the unthinkable happens and we are in the Relegation zone come January but other than that, we have to give a manager time to build this club again.

Fully agree. I don't expect promotion this season with the absolutely unmotivated, shitty squad we currently have. It'll take 3 transfer windows to fully rinse the squad of all the leaches we have, no matter who is our manager. I'll expect an push for an automatic promotion the following season though, given our substantial financial resources.

I honestly don't think Xia will mess about. If at any time promotion doesn't look to be on then I think he'll make a change. I doubt that will be necessary though, I expect us to be challenging within the play-off spots at the very least and probably the top two, depending how our summer goes and our rivals'.

Yes, a shame that it doesn't look like we're getting Eddie Newton and Steve Holland, as well, as they have the advantage of having worked with Di Matteo in the past. But Clarke and Bonds aren't a bad alternatives.

Even if we keep Ayew we still need at least one top drawer striker coming in. We have Gestede, who can do the job in the Championship if played correctly. Kozak could also do so too, but he's so injury-prone is it worth the risk? Gabby just has to go.

I think its about timing, showing some respect and a lot of sympathy for all those good people that were made redundant last week by not shouting about new big contracts and big future plans is classy from Hollis.
