So, I've never really owned a great pair of boots until recently when I bought the Nike Premier. Before then I was just buying a cheap $80 pair each season which would conveniently break during the next pre-season. So anyway, I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips before I go off and ruin a nice pair of boots Razz

I've read online that before wearing them in my first game, I should wear them in a warm bath to let them soak for 20 minutes but that sounds like a complete load of crap to me...

Anyway, feel free to post your current boots here, your favourite boots of all time or just general boot maintenance tips Very Happy

Where would I find Dubbin in Australia? Does it have to be Dubbin or are there other brands that do the same thing? I've probably got some hiding in the back of a cupboard that I've never used...

The Adidas Santiago's look good. Are they what the Copa Mundials are modelled on?

It's been a few years since I have had a pair of football boots on these old feet. I have no idea what the best boots are these days.

The Adidas Predator were the big thing when I was, 11-12. everybody in my class seemed to have a pair. I think Beckham used to wear them.

No idea what the current trend is.

I think I still have my first pair of footer boots that my grandad made for me when I was about five. Made of thick leather and laces right up to the ankles. I must have looked like that Chumley-Warner bloke out of the 'Fast Show'.

Last time I played football regularly was in the indoor league at the Villa. Used to love it, my pre-match ritual was a pint of Guinness. I was a holding centre forward.  Your Boots 238524133
