Having seen the provisional squad, it appears Gestede is available but there are no surprise inclusions. Same old same old. Do what you've always done, get what you've always got. I predict a defeat, with them having no problems scoring a few against us and us not scoring at all.

We really, really would fare better if Westwood just never, never took a shot. I was going to say "shot on goal" but there has rarely been a more inappropriate term for something happening in a match.

Well, that went better than I expected. We scored, who'd have thought that? We lost, who wouldn't have thought that?

However, the scoreline was closer than I predicted and across the ninety minutes anything worse would have been unjust. They weren't good enough to deserve a bigger margin of victory.

Just how can a so-called pro be so bad at tackling and shooting. Since he can't do either of those even as good as poorly, then he's there for one reason - to pass.

Given his ineptitude in other areas, I'd be expecting him to be spraying the ball around like Sid Cowans in order to warrant selection. He doesn't because he can't so WTF is he doing in the team? The shitcunt.

This is actually the first visit to the match thread and it happens nearly two days after the match was finished. I never thought I'd be this disinterested in AVFC or English football.
