Do we have any chance against Chelsea nd will Sherwood still be in charge against Swansea ?
Re: Chelsea v Aston Villa Saturday 17th October 2015
I just don't have a clue what I'm looking at and nor, I suspect, does Sherwood. Oh well, let's hope the attacking half of our team does better than the defending half.

I think it's fair to say that Sherwood has put his head in the lions mouth with the selection today..........yet another different line up!

And that's why we need to sell Guzan regardless of what manager we have. How people can keep defending this turd keeper is beyond what I can fathom.

Can't even fault Lescott, the ball was launched at him for no fucking reason. Dumb sugarbag

Guzan, Richardson and Lescott will be the breaking of us today. Absolute garbage. All three can get to fuck as soon as possible, along with Tim.

We need a GIF of that Guzan mistake. I swear it's him in a nutshell. He didn't know whether to hammer it out or pass the ball, so he did something in between. He simply has no composure or skill. Get rid ASAP

Wow Ramires gets to tackle Grealish for 45 minutes and no card. One tackle on Ramires and yellow card on Ayew. Fucking ref is dogshit

This refereeing is atrocious. He lets them take the free kick, but when it fails he asks for a re-take. Absurd

Sack Sherwood and Wilkins please. And report this referee to the FA. And Lerner can fuck off

Love how people are defending Lescott. Professional footballer can't control a ball that's straight at him!?
Football is good. No end product. Another loss. Another mistake. Another deflected goal.

That goal was not on Lescott. It wasn't a pass, it was a shot. A shot on a defender under pressure. By no means good stuff by Lescott, but 100% Guzan's error. Shit shit shit keeper. Worst keeper I've seen us have in absolute eons.

Lescott let's the ball go under his foot. Straight to Willian. Not his fault? Okay

I really don't care anymore. I'm gonna stop even watching. Fuck this club. I'm coming back when they are sacked and Lerner has fucked off.

Chelsea - win
Baggies - win
We are 4 points behind Bournemouth, BUT 7 behind Baggies now.
Not only are we getting cut adrift, but its a massive, massive uphill battle now.
This is crap.

Well I didn't expect anything else to be honest but I have to say that Chelsea are a really poor side which does surprise me, so the opportunity was there to have a go at them which we did initially but then succumbed to individual errors again!
We definitely can't carry on like this though, that is for certain!

On paper it does look bad but every goal is a stupid error or a deflection. Eventually that has to stop, surely.

Why doesn't someone kick Costa's fucking face off?
What another limp-dicked display.

I think I might just come back to Villa when we're in the Championship next year and we have a new manager building a new squad around Gardner and Grealish (I doubt anyone else will hang around and I can't see Lerner still paying anyone PL wages). Oh, and Gabby.

My worry is that we have defenders who are poor on the ball and therefore accident prone, and a goalkeeper who is a disaster waiting to happen every time he gets the ball to feet or in his hands.
Chelsea's second goal came directly from a passage of play when we were knocking it about in midfield and then we involved the defenders, with the inevitable result that the ball gets played back to Guzan, who hoofed it up the middle for Chelsea to win the ball back, and within 10 seconds the ball was in the net.
Time and again in games, we get pressed deeper and deeper when in possession to the point that it ends up at Guzans feet. Then the aimless hoof up the field ensues and we have lost possession cheaply yet again.
I thought we had some stats guy. Surely, we can see that this tactic of Guzan as playmaker is not working.
