I hope to God they do because otherwise it'll be a fined two weeks wages job which, although it will add at least 100k to the coffers, won't solve the problem.
Come on, legal team, let's see you earn your money on this one and get Shitcunt #1 in the Rogues Gallery out of the club.
They can always pay up his contract - and he walks away. But can the club afford to do that ? - probably not. I think this is the beginning of the end for Gabby - but not quite the end.

Yes they can pay up his contract but why the fuck should they? He already gets the equivalent of the interest on a Euromillions rollover every week, why the fuck should Shitcunt #1 be handed the equivalent of the jackpot capital amount to leave? What precedent would that set? Don't fancy it? Behave like an unprofessional wanker and the club will pay you off leaving you free to go to sign for someone else. Job done.
Oh no, if they can't fuck him off on this they need to nail him on every little thing they can every time they can. Overweight? Fined. Late for training? Fined. Refusal to carry out reasonable instruction or request from a staff member? Fined. Causing dissent? That's insubordination, Fined. You get the idea. That's how this sack of shite should be treated.

I thought at first it was an April fools joke." Aston Villa striker suspended" this would imply he scores goals and we haven't seen much of that from him for years.
Time to go and take wages under false pretences from another club (if anyone wants him)

Re: Gabby Agbonlahor
It does appear to be very difficult to sack a footballer. However Mr Hollis and Mr Bernstein are both very experienced businessmen, who will have come across low life like Flabby hundreds of times. They will also have been in situations where it is difficult to sack these wasters. However there is more than one way to skin a cat and these blokes will know every trick in the book to rid themselves of scumbags. I'm not saying that they can get rid of him, but if there is a way then they will know more than most.
They've already started to damage his reputation, even if they find nothing they can nail him for after the investigation. They can possibly create a situation whereby they say, look dickhead find yourself a new club now, because by the time we've finished with you you'll be lucky to get a game on a Sunday morning and pay you're own subs.
We live in hope.

I watched some youtube stuff of Gabby 10 years ago. Say what you want, but I rated that player. He was lightning quick, hardworking, had a knack of getting scrappy goals and looked like he loved playing football. I wonder what the hell happened to that guy.
Anyway, get rid asap.

Mate I agree totally - 10 years ago he was a player most teams wanted, he even got onto the fringes of the England squad.Joppe84 wrote:I watched some youtube stuff of Gabby 10 years ago. Too many years of being "MR Aston Villa" have gone to his head and he now feels he is bigger than the club. - what a waste

Not 5% the player he once was and that is due mainly to attitude, real shame!

Ahhhh Dwight Yorke a player I loved watching and would score for fun.
He could have been a true villa legend the only reason he isn't ( in my opinion ) is when he signed for small Heath ! Why ? Why ? Why ?
I know it was the twilight of his career but surely he didn't need the money and there would have been other championship clubs who would have had him.

Yorke's first game against the Villa was at Old Trafford. At the end of the game he ran up to the Villa fans and kissed his United badge. Total wanker.

Culmination of several months work at Aintree today. Was gutted that I would have to miss the savage booing of Gabby but slightly relieved that he isn't playing. That can be saved for another day.

I've said it before. I think the board are building a case to either cancel his contract, or put him under extreme pressure to leave of his own accord. Hopefully anyway!
