Yeah, we are pretty helpful like that. Sigh.

Re: Everton v Aston Villa all in one thread
I know we're going slowly slowly with Grealish, but with Delph out and the buzz of a new contract behind him, I'd really look to be starting him in a central role off the front man tomorrow. I know there is a logic to currently using him as a late sub when defenders are tired, and out wide while he is progressing, but with no Delph we lack creativity. Look at the Orient game - the only time anything looked like happening was when Grealish was on the ball.
On the basis that Benteke might be starting, I'd go with something like...
It's all much of a muchness in certain areas - I would play Okore but that won't happen, I would rather not play Richardson but that will happen and sadly the alternatives are lacking. Also with Grealish being given a free role I'd be looking for Richardson to fill in centrally when needed - can't fault his effort off the ball at least.
I'm sure N'Zogbia will play though, because apparently two runs into space with no end product was enough for the majority of our fans to say he had a good game last time.

Well if a team needs a win, there's one team who will give it them. AVFC.
Lamberk doesn't mind if we lose though, he's a loser him self, he will have his excise lined up already for the defeat in Delph.
He has to change from this dire 451 we have been playing, especially now Delph is out.
Go 442 or 4231

Change?
I wish PL would, but I won't hold my breath while I'm waiting.

We won't change
Wiemann and Gabby will be painfully back on the flanks like last season where they scored 6 goals between them. Benteke will be back, we will only see more hoof balls now and Sanchez will replace Delph in a 451
We have the most predictable, defensive, dour manager around

Re: Everton v Aston Villa all in one thread
It's all too predictable, Lambert will set up not to lose, he will go ultra defensive rather than attack a defence short on confidence, as posted Everton are scoring enough but defend like us at the minute.
Tekkers will get little service other than humps up field from the back, Everton will control the midfield especially with Delph out. A draw would be a decent result, we simply have to stop the rot and then beat QPR next week.
All in all I can see why the fans are staying away, we are dire to watch, and until Lamberts leaves we will remain so, he has built a team in his own image, dour, lacking ideas, no imagination and pretty clueless.

Can't argue with much of that really.

The line up screams 4-5-1. Let's hope Nzog/Gabby actually go at the Toffees and actually give Big Ben something to get on the end of.

What??? He's injured, right? Must be. If not then fuck it...I'm off to bed. Not gonna waste my much-needed beauty sleep if Lambert fails to put a player like that in the squad for no good reason.

Re: Everton v Aston Villa all in one thread
I'm not convinced we're ever going to score a goal again. Second best by a long way here. Benteke looks well short of fitness and Delph is a big loss 'cause he's the one midfielder we've got who is capable of carrying the ball forward. that Hutton is our most dangerous attacker today says a lot.

I think we are playing reasonably well, but without a decent final ball.
