Re: Nathan Baker suspension rumour
Can't say I would even be slightly disappointed if true, other than the negative press for the club. He is one of the worst players I have ever, EVER seen. Really terrible. I once unfollowed someone on Twitter because they described him as 'Paul McGrath in disguise', without an ounce of irony. That is the single stupidest thing I have ever read on the entire insane world of the Internet, on Aston Villa or any other subject.
However, I am not convinced at this stage, will wait to see if it develops before believing it.

I take it he has taken his car to a garage to get it repaired :)

Never saw Andy Comyn then?
Baker isn't that bad, hes a young lad who played in a very average team last year, and he certainly wasn't the worst performer in some of them games.Committed player who would probably benefit with a season in the Championship alongside an experienced CH.Still think he could turn out to be ok, better than Cahill at this age imho.

Re: Nathan Baker suspension rumour
Unfortunately I am old enough to say that I did see Andy Comyn.
With respect, I completely and utterly disagree. He is terrible and isn't even better than Cahill when Cahill was younger than Baker. He is 23 now, I assure you that Cahill was better at 23 than Baker is. To be honest I can't be bothered to argue it out that much more than that, in the nicest possible way. I have formed my opinion on him over a few seasons (including watching him when I used to regularly attend reserve games) and no-one has anything to say that is going to make me change my mind.
I don't even dislike the lad, I admire his bravery (head injuries much?) and who doesn't like a crunching tackle? I just can't see who on earth thought he was good enough to play at Premiership level, and it will take an improvement of biblical proportions to make me think any differently.
