Should be fun coming back on the train tomorrow because the scum are at home too!
I clocked that this morning too. Bloody stupid idea unless they're figuring between us they'll be less than 30000 fans!
Thats a bit of a fuck up from the organisers, why couldn't one play tonight and one play tomorrow?! New Street station is going to be a nightmare at 10 o'clock tomorrow! Feel sorry for that one B-Lose fan!

Just read on Sky (I'm on my phone, don't ask for a link) that Grealish is going to start tomorrow night

Nice to see Lambo speaking so highly of him and acknowledging that if Cissokho hadn't gotten his knock then he would've thrown him on

So what are we all predicting against the O's then folks, score-wise?
It's always so difficult when you don't have a clue about team selection for the match (I mean me, not Lambert).
Anyway, I'm going to stick my neck out and say 4-0 to Villa.

After tonight's results I'd settle for Villa going through on penalties!

I'm hoping for a big score and good display tonight. After Lambert sub par performances against low league opposition I think a strong team (now we have some depth) with the likes of Cole, Grealish, Bent and Okore all playing at some point.
3 or 4 -0 to the Villa.
Come on boys, you owe us all one.

Decided to show my face tonight, so Lambert better repay my change of mind with a decent and entertaining display, otherwise its back to concentrating on the away games.
Hopefully a knuckle dragging heathen will try something on the way home after. Now that would make my day!

Orient were one of the form teams last year, I don't think they have started too brightly this time round, last year at this stage Rotherham should of scored first before we ran away with it , I am going for 2-0 home win ( both goals in last 10mins ) Villa never give us a comfortable ride ! UTV !

As far as trademark looks go, halfway-down socks is fucking stupid. Grealish needs to sort this. Otherwise I can in no way endorse him as an excellent footballer. The highest score he can possibly get from me will be an 8.
Even if he scored a double hattrick to humiliate Man Utd he's only getting an 8 because I will deduct 1 point for each shitty sock.

Re: villa v Leyton Orient match thread
I reckon we'll basically start with the bench from the Newcastle game, with a handful of the first team retained for stability and Clark in at LB:
Given
Hutton-Senderos-Baker-Clark
Sanchez-Westwood
Bacuna-Cole-Grealish
Bent
something like that. it'd be good to see Okore play some part too, if fit.Hutton-Senderos-Baker-Clark
Sanchez-Westwood
Bacuna-Cole-Grealish
Bent

At the moment we're in one more competition than Man U, let's hope it stays that way.

Re: villa v Leyton Orient match thread
This season Villa has enough experience and depth to make a decent cup run. I honestly think if we have the same 'luck' regarding cup draws the past couple years- we can make a cup final this year. UTV!!!
I never understood the negative attitude about cup trophy. Last I checked, its still a trophy... and the cup winners advance to play in Europa the following year. People like to slag Europa, but I think its a great thing to be playing in (obviously not as good as CL... but its better than sitting at home!), and now Europa winners make CL the following year-
Who knows?? It might be easier to attract young talent if Villa are in Europe- our total games played increases dramatically, which means more players needed to play.
I guess I'm just the eternal optimist.

It appears unless you actually get down to VP tonight you've got next to no chance of finding a stream. Not televised anywhere apparently. SSN and the radio it is then.

It would nice to see Grealish, Bent and Cole tonight. Get them off the bench and let see what they can do. I am hoping for a 3 nil win, however I am the eternal optimist. If we win 1 nil with a scrappy own goal I will take it. I remember at one time watching my team with no fear and confident that we can win any game anywhere. How things have changed.
